Merchant Onboarding Policy

1. Objective
This Policy is established by Kortya Softcom Private Limited to define the framework for secure, compliant, and risk-based onboarding of users in accordance with applicable laws, including the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and RBI Master Directions.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to all new users, existing users undergoing re-verification, and internal personnel responsible for due diligence and compliance within the Kortyapay platform.
3. Onboarding Criteria
We follow a risk-based process. For individual users, we require:
- Full Name (as per identity proof).
- Verified Mobile and Email via OTP.
- Government Identity Proofs (e.g., PAN, Aadhaar).
- Bank Details for settlements.
4. Onboarding of Merchant Users
Merchants must provide business-specific documentation:
- Business Name and Registered Address.
- Authorized Signatory Identity Proof.
- Business Registration Certificates (GSTIN, Incorporation).
- Bank Account verification via cancelled cheque or statement.
5. Verification & KYC Compliance
All users undergo pre-activation KYC. We apply risk-based due diligence and perform ongoing transaction monitoring to detect fraudulent activity.
6. Rejection or Termination
Kortya Softcom reserves the right to reject onboarding for fraudulent submissions or terminate accounts found in violation of regulatory or internal compliance standards.
